As a UNM alumni of the Anderson School of Business, a former member of the UNM Hockey team and current Head Coach. Grant’s community roots run deep. He has been proud to call Albuquerque home for over forty years and is passionate about helping others put down local roots of their own. Grant is an avid volunteer at the Wildlife Refuge of New Mexico along with gathering his team to visit the New Mexico Children’s Hospital for some much-needed playtime with the children patients. His philanthropies don’t end there as he is involved in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and runs a yearly coat drive to serve the homeless and impoverished school children. This need to serve the community started early as Grant had earned his Eagle Scout award in high school, an accolade that is predicated on serving one’s neighborhood and beyond.
